TERRY FOX FOUNDATION SOCCER CONTEST

By participating in the Terry Fox Foundation Soccer Contest (the “Contest”), you confirm to have received, understood, and agreed to the following contest rules and regulations (the “Rules”).

1. Who is eligible to enter the Contest?
The Contest is exclusive to individuals who are current residents of Canada and are at least 18 years old as of May 12, 2026.

The following individuals are not eligible to enter the Contest:

a) Current employees and Board members of the Terry Fox Foundation or Terry Fox Research Institute, and staff of related agencies and/or corporations.

b) A member from the household of any of the individuals listed in (a).

c) Immediate family members (including but not limited to spouse, sibling, parent, child) of the individuals listed in (a).

2. What are the dates of the Contest?
The contest runs from May 12, 2026 to May 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Entries to the Contest will only be accepted during this period. One winner will be chosen by random draw and contacted via email or DM.

3. How do I participate in the Contest?
For a chance to win, participants must complete the following criteria during the Contest period:

a) Follow the Terry Fox Foundation’s official Instagram account.

b) Like and comment on the Terry Fox Foundation’s official Soccer Contest Instagram post.

c) Register yourself or a team for the 2026 Terry Fox Run at run.terryfox.ca.

Participants can also receive a bonus entry (“Bonus Entry”) by collecting 10 sponsors on your fundraising page or become a monthly donor to support innovative cancer research at terryfox.org/ways-to-give.

If (a), (c), and/or any bonus entry criteria were completed prior to the start date of the Contest and is in good standing by the Contest end date, said completed criteria will be considered valid for Contest entry.

4. How many times can I enter the Contest?
All participants who complete the criteria outlined in 3 a), 3 b), and 3 c) will receive ONE entry to the Contest. Participants can receive ONE additional entry by completing the Bonus Entry criteria outlined in section 3 above. One participant can have a maximum of TWO entries.

5. What is the Contest prize?
The winner (“Winner”) of the Contest will receive one prize consisting of:

• Two tickets to the Canada vs. Switzerland game on June 24, 2026 in Vancouver, BC

• A limited-edition merchandise bundle

Approximate retail value of the Prize is $3,500 CAD. Actual value of the Prize will depend on any fluctuations in prize item fares. The Winner will not be awarded any difference between the approximate retail value and actual value.

6. Do the Prizes have conditions?

a) The Winner and their guest will be required to travel to Vancouver, BC.

b) The Winner and their guest must have valid documentation for travel.

c) A minimum of one person, either the Winner or their guest, must travel with a valid credit card to cover any incidentals or other expense requirements.

d) The Prize consist exclusively of the items listed in section 5 above. No additional costs associated with partaking in the Prize activities and events will be covered (including but not limited to, accommodations, meals, excursions, phone service, insurance, transportation, baggage fees, in-flight purchases, etc.). Any additional costs will be the sole responsibility of the Winner and their guest.

e) The Prize is non-refundable, non-transferable, not for sale, and has no cash value. 

f) The Winner must have a valid phone number, email address, SeatGeek, and Ticketmaster account to receive the prize items listed in section 5.

7. How will the Winner be selected?
The Winner will be chosen by random draw on June 1, 2026, from the eligible entries. No purchase necessary. Winner will be required to answer a skill testing question to claim their prize. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries.

If the Winner do not respond within three (3) hours after the first notification attempt, or if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or if the Winner fail to provide the necessary information to confirm their identity and eligibility to receive the Prize, the Winner may be disqualified and an alternative Winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries.

8. Can the Prize be altered after the Contest opens?
The Terry Fox Foundation and members involved in the creation of this Contest reserve the right to alter prize inclusions if required in the Foundation’s sole discretion. Alterations may occur due to situations outside of the Terry Fox Foundation’s control, such as, but not limited to, weather, illness, travel delays, world events, etc. The Winner of the Contest will be made aware of any prize alterations and will be provided with additional prize options if required. It is the Terry Fox Foundation’s intent to run the Contest as originally outlined in the Terms and Conditions above.
