Share this video to help inspire and motivate your students to set goals, and work hard to overcome challenges, just like Terry did. Long before Terry Fox began his Marathon of Hope, he had to try to learn how to walk and then run all over again. First streets, then hills, and eventually, mountains. He had to gather support for what seemed like a “crazy” idea, a run across Canada for cancer research. He had to try every day and push past the pain and the exhaustion. Cancer may have taken a lot from Terry, but it could never take away his “try”.
